Your lawyer will check title deeds, and ensure there are no debts upon the transfer of title. Where a mortgage is required we will introduce you to banks or qualified mortgage advisers. We can assist you to open a local bank account. All your future payments in connection with your purchase should be made through your bank. We do not handle any payments.

Costs involved in purchase are lawyer and notary fees, also taxes depending on price.  In Spain for example, as a rule of thumb you should allow ten per cent of the property price to cover all the outgoings in connection with your purchase.
